The spectacle Opera & Flamenco performs in this wonderful complex in two of its concert halls: the Petit Palau and in the impresive "Sala Gran", it's Main Hall.

The building is a work of architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner and was inaugurated in 1908 and constitutes one of the most aclaimmed works of Modernism in Catalonia and its visit is a most for those visiting Barcelona.

The facade made in seen red brick and decorated with mosaics by Lluís Brú, has an emphasized sculptoric group in tribute to Folksong, a work of the prestigious sculptor Miquel Blay.

UNESCO declared this building " Patrimony of the humanity" in 1987.

This theater located at the beginning of Las Ramblas of Barcelona - without a doubt the most visited and colorful street of Barcelona - is one of its older and most traditional stages.

It was constructed within the building of the Academy of Sciences and the Arts, founded on 1764 and has been reformed in several occasions which maintains it rejuvenated and vital, as the city itself.

From 2004 the spectacle Opera & Flamenco has been running in its stage every season.
