Opera y Flamenco is truly a ¨cult¨ for those passionate for music and dance. The show offers a single ´fusion´ between melodic lyrical song, the Zarzuela tradition and the spell which Flamenco casts. With uninterrupted programming since 2004 in the prestigious Teatre Poliorana on La Rambla and in the Palau de la Musica Catalana, you will find the most seen flamenco show in all of Barcelona.
In a timeless Spain, you discover the tormenting love story of love between two dancers interpreted by their souls, the soprano and the tenor. Sensual choreography are alternated with the most famous opera arias in a mix of great natural beauty between flamenco and song. Thanks to the public success and gained critical acclaim at the Auditorium de Roma, and in the Teatro Pavarotti de Modena, Opera y Flamenco, which has been seen by more than 800.000 spectators in Spain, will continue it´s run throughout 2010-2011 in Barcelona and in main theatres throughout Europe.
